Hyperlinks

Hello Thembeka Tshabalala!

Great your contributions! I droped by from the Lingála-Wikipedia from iKongo. Do you know the Hyperlinks? When you click on a blue word in Wikipedia, you will be redirected to the article about this topic. For example, if you click on Isonto, you will arrive at your latest article. Or at your acount: User:Princess. This is very usefull if someone need more information about something. If the article does not exist until now, the link is red.

How to create this famous links? To create the [[ ]]: doubble-click on the word. It becomes blue (or an other colour). Then click the Ab-bouton above. I hope it helps! For further information see the information from the English Wikipedia below.

I learnt most about Wiki-Syntax when I clicked on hlela and compaired the article with the syntax. Best wishes. Etienne

To make a link to another Wikipedia page, put the name of the page inside two square brackets ([[).
For example: [[London]] = London

You can also make different words appear, other than the actual name of the linked article:
The wonderful city of London (this link is also to "London"). To do this, write: [[London|The wonderful city of London]]

Other letters added to the actual link will automatically appear as part of the link, like this:
There are three [[London]]s = There are three Londons.
