Ilig Dheere or Iligdere is one of the woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, named after its major town, Iligdheere. Part of the Afder Zone, Iligdheere is bordered on the southwest by the Ganale Dorya River which separates it from the Liben Zone, on the west by Goro Bekeksa, on the north by Elekere, on the east by Melka Chireti.

Also Iligdheere is one of the major and densely populated towns in Somali Region, it lies 60KM West Melka Chireti and 60KM East of Gorobakaksa.

The Chinese Communications and Construction Company (CCCC) which is constructing a double filling tarmac road Lot 1 Chereti-Hager Mekor which is 90KM built a base in Iligdheere. A prominent cleric Sheikh Muhumed Alinur was reported to be the founder and the first one who inhabited Iligdheere.

An independent estimation conducted by DLM refers the total beneficiaries of this community Woreda is more than 60,000. Sixty Thousands.

This town is primarily inhabited by Gaadsan clan of Somali.
