Greetings, 3atbulletz! and my apologies for writing in English... Having edited two pages here today, I thought it a good time to introduce myself to you. Your great and steady amount of contributions is largely why I've reduced my activity here in the Zulu WP, after several years (2017-2019) during which I made over 4K edits. My general linguistic skills and WP toolkit (format, categories, Wikidata, etc.) have been useful in small WPs with few regular editors and lacking an administrator. Adminship[Hlela umthombo]

Hi there, I am a global sysop who has been trying to maintain this project despite not being a speaker. I think it would be helpful to have a native speaker as an active admin. I've primarily been focusing on massive amounts of SEO spam hitting this place but there is a lot of other maintenance that really needs a native speaker. Congrats on editorship and thanks for livening up the place. I was demonstrating to someone the use of the Content Translation tool which I in my naivete thought could transfer templates like infoboxes. Well I know it can but I found out, not all of them. The tool suggested one solution would be to approach the admin of the target wiki to introduce support for the template. Does that feel like something you would be up for? Great job with the spambots, just wanted to note that IPs shouldn't be blocked indefinitely because they often change users. I usually do 1-3 days depending on the level of vandalism from the range. This should probably be changed to something similar to the 1-3 days. Hope this doesn't come off badly, I'm excited to have a native speaker here with the tools! It's quite a learning curve! Renewal of adminship[Hlela umthombo]

Hello. I hope that you are well. I see here that your term as an admin is set to expire on the 23rd. Admin rights on small wikipedias are not permanent, meaning that you need to renew it every few weeks. Ok, you go to Wikipedia:Requests for adminship and make another request. After 7 days, if the community approves, you make a request here. A steward will then renew your adminship. You will have to do this every few weeks. Lefcentreright (talk) 10:10, 15 uZibandlela 2020 (UTC)[reply]
